Utah Senate Sponsors New Media Exchange

Ric Cantrell announced a meeting tonight of those involved with the new media outlets covering the state legislature. Beginning at 6pm at the Senate President's Office (Third Floor, State Capitol bldg.) On hand either in person or via teleconference were several of Utah's new media reporters and commentors, as well as assigned media personnel from the journalist pool.

The meeting lasted more than an hour while the legislature was still in session into the evening. Appearing for questions were State Senate President Michael Waddoups, (R-Salt Lake) Senate Majority Leader Sheldon Killpack, (R-Syracuse) and executive appropriations chair Lyle Hillyard (R-Logan).
